And a repositioned fingerprint scanner.

It’s been almost a year since the Moto E4 Plus was launched, so we may well get a Moto E5 Plus soon especially as images of the phone are starting to leak, most recently in the form of a pair of photos showing the front and back.

The images are shared by Evan Blass and Droidholic, the images is in too poor in quality to give out anything new and only show the design of the smartphone.

Nevertheless, let’s sum up what we suspect and what we can see. The Moto E5 Plus will have an 18:9 aspect display (supposedly a 5.8-inch 720x1440px LCD), a fingerprint scanner on the back (embedded into the Moto logo) and a glossy backside, made to imitate luxury.

There is an LED flash for the front camera too. The micro USB port is present on the bottom whereas the headphone jack is on the top. The speaker is most probably present within the earpiece on front.

The cameras something the rumours can’t agree on. Some expect the Moto-like on the back of the Moto E5 Plus to have a dual camera but it looks to us like there’s a single camera and possibly a laser autofocus module in the second spot. The rumours also point to a dual front facing camera but we can only guess at this point.
On an earlier press render shared by reliable leaker Evan Blass, which also shows off other details such as a 3.5mm headphone port on the top edge and power and volume keys on the right. He also reported Moto E5 to have a Laser A.F in the second spot.

The specifications are not yet known, and the launch is happening pretty soon. So, stay tuned.
