NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 leaked by Vietnamese Store – dated for 28th September

Nvidia launched its current generation of GeForce gaming GPUs more than two years ago, and we might just see the next generation, rumoured GeForce 11 series and various preparations are currently in progress.

Nvidia is now reportedly sending invites for Gamescom on August 21st (just as Hot Chips ends) for a mysterious PC-related event. The invites follow a Lenovo product manager freely talking about Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 11 Series during an E3 video.

The Vietnamese e-commerce website H2Gaming suddenly launched the GeForce GTX 1180, specifically the ROG Strix GTX 1180 from Asus.

After the listing appeared on the Vietnamese Store H2Gaming, the listing has been taken down. So, currently, the link responds with a 404 error.

The store gives the product picture and packaging drawing, but it is obviously based on the existing ROG Strix GTX 1080 PS, but there are detailed specifications:

Nvidia and their GeForce GTX graphics cards, which are currently going by the code name Turing. Turing architecture GT104 core, 12nm manufacturing process, 3854 stream processors (40% increase compared to GTX 1080 to GTX 1080 Ti level), memory with 256-bit bit width Micron 16GB GDDR6, equivalent frequency 14GHz (Bandwidth 409.6GB/s).

The Turing architecture should be a lite version of the Volta architecture, removing the Tensor Accelerated Core for professional areas, the DPFP CUDA double-precision floating-point core, and the change of memory from HBM2 to GDDR6 to reduce costs and focus on the game.
Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1180 is expected to be capable of playing games at 4K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The ASUS ROG STRIX 1180 will be using the GT104 GPU featuring 3584 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR6 Micron VRAM with a 256-bit bus width and a 14Gbps memory speed.

The price is 34.86 million VND, about $ 1,511 or 1,03,871Indian Rupee.

The MSI Twin Frozr VI also gets listed on the same website MSI 1180 Gaming X 16GB GDDR5 -  12NM Design.

For the low, low price of 31,800,000 VND - which is about $1,400 - you can bag yourself a pre-order of an MSI GTX 1180 Gaming X with 16GB of GDDR6. Which is a bit of a bargain, as everyone knows non-existent graphics cards are more expensive than real ones.

Although there’s no doubt that the price is ridiculously high for a card whose predecessor costed less than half the amount.

Reddit netizens also pointed out that H2Gaming is a very reliable large-scale e-commerce website, it should not be too outrageous, and Vietnam e-commerce websites often leak new in advance. Hardware, such as the recent H310, B360 motherboard, so there is a certain degree of credibility.

Of course, how to look at the follow-up situation and the final product release.
