Krafton thanks fans as BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA hits 50M Downloads

Krafton, the South Korean video game maker, today announced that, as of 14th August, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA has clocked 50M downloads on Google Play. This comes little over a month after the game’s launch on July 2nd.

To celebrate the milestone, players have been gifted the the Galaxy Messenger Set permanent outfit in addition to some more fun rewards. The celebrations doesn’t end there! On the occasion of Independence Day, Krafton ran the fun event Freedon Face-Off, a casual set of matches on its social channels involving partners who played against each other with Team Encore eventually emerging the winners.

In line with the promise of introducing India centric events, the Independence Day Mahotsav is also live in-game, and fans can win exciting rewards including an AWM(temporary) skin, till 19th August.

The BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES was announced last month to an incredible response of 540,000 registrations till date with registrations still open. The stream schedule will be released shortly after closure of registrations.

The Royal Pass Month 2 launched for the second month last week with the theme “Project T” introducing all new outfits and rewards. The max RPM rank will remain at 50 while adding in higher number of rewards for each tier, and challenge missions to only last for a month.
