Radeon RX 6400 Challenger ITX from ASRock spotted at EEC

At the beginning of this year, AMD announced both the RX 6500 XT and the RX 6400. While the former is now available, it remains to be seen on OEM systems with the RX 6400. AMD’s website indicates that this card is aimed at partner turnkey PCs, expected in the first half of this year.

Looks like ASRock is in any case developing such a model. The manufacturer has registered several SKUs with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), including the RX 6400 CLI 4G. According to Videocardz, the term CLI is a reference to Challenger ITX, a compact version of which an RX 6500 XT variant also exists.

While this card is not expected to deliver a particularly impressive performance, it may be of interest to certain users due to its low power consumption: AMD’s specification page reports a total board power (TBP) of 53 watts. This means that the power can be supplied completely via the motherboard and therefore no additional power plugs are required.
