ASRock intends to expand its DeskMini series of compact personal computers with another model. Yesterday it was reported a version of DeskMini Max with a volume of 9 litres. Today the company presented a slightly different concept of the DeskMini Max PC with a volume of 10 litres.
The DeskMini Max 10L measures 268 x 220.8 x 268 mm. The system is based on a compact motherboard of the ITX form factor with a Socket AM4 processor socket. The manufacturer claims the ability to install Ryzen 5000, Ryzen 4000, Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen 2000 series processors, as well as hybrid APUs with a TDP of up to 105 W. Thus, even the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X can be installed in the new product.
The system offers four full-size slots for DDR4 RAM modules with a total capacity of up to 128 GB. The manufacturer does not indicate the video cards available for installation but says that their length should not exceed 200 mm.
Also, DeskMini Max 10L is ready to offer two M.2 slots. One is for installing an NVMe drive, the second is for a combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. This also includes two SATA connectors, nine USB ports (five USB 3.2 and four USB 2.0) and one additional USB Type-C connector, brought to the front panel. Optional installation of an optical drive or another peripheral device in the size of 5.25 inches.
The ASRock DeskMini mAx allows the use of not only air but also compact liquid CPU cooling systems. It also provides for the installation of two 2.5-inch or one 3.5-inch drive.
ASRock DeskMini Max 10L is equipped with a 500W 80 Plus Bronze Certified PSU. The manufacturer adjusted the length of the power supply cables taking into account the size of the case itself so that they do not interfere and do not take up extra space inside.
