Honor Magic9 series could launch on September 28 with three models, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, up to 200MP cameras, and batteries as large as 11,000mAh.
Honor is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Honor Magic 9 series, in China. According to a new leak, the series will include three models: the Honor Magic 9, Magic 9 Pro Max, and Magic 9 Super Edition.
The top-end Honor Magic9 Super Edition is expected to be the standout model, reportedly featuring a 200MP main camera, a 165Hz display, and an enormous 11,000mAh battery.
Honor has already teased the design of the Magic 9 series, but the company has not yet officially confirmed the specifications. A new Weibo leak claims that the three smartphones will share a similar rear-camera design while differing in display size, cameras, battery capacity, and other hardware.
Honor Magic9 Super Edition Specifications
The Honor Magic 9 Super Edition is reportedly the most battery-focused smartphone in the upcoming lineup. It could feature a 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, making it one of the higher-refresh-rate flagship phones on the market.
The rear camera setup is expected to include a 200MP primary camera, along with 12MP and 50MP secondary sensors. However, unlike the standard Magic 9 and Magic 9 Pro Max, the Super Edition reportedly will not feature ARRI branding on its camera system.
The biggest highlight could be the phone’s 11,000mAh battery. If confirmed, this would give the Magic 9 Super Edition considerably more battery capacity than most current flagship smartphones. Even smartphones with 10,000mAh batteries remain relatively uncommon.
The device is also rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a built-in cooling fan, and a fiberglass body. On the front, the smartphone is expected to use a single camera.
Honor Magic 9 Specifications
The standard Honor Magic 9 is expected to be the most compact model in the lineup. It could feature a 6.37-inch display and an 8,000mAh battery.
The smartphone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Its rear camera system could be particularly interesting, with two 200MP sensors co-developed with ARRI. The phone is also rumored to feature a single 3D front camera for selfies and advanced biometric features.

The Magic9 Pro Max could also be the most powerful model in the series. It is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset and an 8,800mAh battery.

Honor Magic 9 Series Launch Date
The Honor Magic9 series is expected to launch in China on September 28. Pre-orders are reportedly already open through Honor’s official online store in China.
Honor has yet to officially confirm the Magic9 series specifications, camera configurations, battery capacities, and launch details, so the reported hardware should be treated as unconfirmed until the company makes an official announcement.
Honor Magic 9 Series: What to Expect
If the leaked specifications are accurate, the Honor Magic9 lineup could be notable for its unusually large batteries and high-resolution camera systems. The 11,000mAh battery on the Magic9 Super Edition, in particular, could make it one of the most battery-focused flagship smartphones of the year.
