AMD R3 3200G Spotted; 12nm upto 3.9Ghz

A user over at the Chiphell forums exposed AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 3 3200G APU. The user has received eight Ryzen 3000 series APU samples and is currently undergoing different tests.

It is reported that Picasso is the official code of the AMD Ryzen 3000 series desktop and mobile APU. So far, AMD has launched the mobile H-series processor in January, and recently launched the mobile Ryzen Pro series, and now only the desktop APU chip is not updated. It is expected AMD to show these on Computex 2019.

The AMD Ryzen 3 3200G is an update to the Ryzen 3 2200G, which may retain a quad-core/four-thread configuration, but due to the Zen + architecture and 12nm optimization, the clock speed should be higher. It is reported that Ryzen 3 2200G adopts Zen architecture and 14nm process, with a frequency of 3.5GHz and a maximum of 3.7GHz.

According to the news of the famous breaking newser TUM_APISAK, he found a Ryzen 3 3200G benchmark data, the new product has a 3.6GHz reference clock and a 3.9GHz boost clock. In terms of verification, the Ryzen 3 3200G should not be much different from the previous generation. It is equipped with a Radeon Vega 8 GPU, but the basic clock frequency is as high as 1,250 MHz.
