Choosing the right CPU cooler for an AM5 gaming build is important, especially when balancing performance, noise, and budget. The Ant Esports ICE C621 Dual Tower CPU Air Cooler, part of the brand’s well known ICE series, is designed to offer strong thermal performance, ARGB aesthetics, and wide platform compatibility at an aggressive price point.

Design and Build Quality

The Ant Esports ICE C621 features a dual tower heatsink design that maximizes surface area for heat dissipation. It is equipped with six 6mm copper heatpipes, allowing efficient transfer of heat away from the CPU during sustained workloads.

The cooler sports a stealthy all black design, giving it a clean and premium look that blends easily into both RGB heavy and minimalist PC builds. Despite its dual tower structure, the overall dimensions remain compact enough for most mid tower cabinets.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is simple and user friendly, even for first time PC builders. With a total height of 148mm, the ICE C621 fits comfortably in most cabinets without clearance issues. It supports mainstream AMD and Intel platforms, including AM5 and LGA 1700, making it a future ready option for upgrades.

The mounting mechanism feels secure and provides good contact pressure, ensuring consistent thermal performance.

Performance and Thermals

The Ant Esports ICE C621 was tested with the Ryzen 5 7600 across daily workloads and extended gaming sessions.

At idle, CPU temperatures consistently stayed between 38°C and 42°C. During light usage such as web browsing, media consumption, and productivity tasks, the cooler remained quiet and stable, with fans spinning at lower speeds.

During prolonged gaming sessions involving both AAA and competitive titles, CPU temperatures stayed within the 62°C to 68°C range. Thermal performance remained stable throughout extended gameplay, with no signs of thermal throttling.

The dual tower design delivers a clear improvement over stock CPU coolers, making it well suited for mid range gaming systems.

Noise Levels

The ICE C621 uses dual 120mm PWM fans with a speed range of 800 to 1800 RPM, allowing dynamic adjustment based on workload. Thanks to hydro bearing technology, fan operation remains smooth and quiet even under load.

During gaming, the fans are audible but never distracting, maintaining a good balance between cooling performance and noise levels. The bearing design also contributes to long term durability.

ARGB Lighting

The cooler features Ant Esports ARGB fans, which are not basic entry level units and get the job done well both visually and thermally. The lighting is bright, evenly diffused, and enhances the overall look of the build.

The universal ARGB lighting is compatible with popular software platforms including MSI Mystic Light, Asus Aura Sync, and Gigabyte RGB Fusion, allowing easy customization and synchronization with other components.

Final Verdict

Priced at ₹3,019 on Amazon, the Ant Esports ICE C621 delivers excellent value for money. It competes closely with the Cooler Master Hyper 620S ARGB, which costs around ₹3,300, making the competition in this segment quite tight.

Interestingly, Ant Esports also offers its own Value AV240 240mm AIO, often available for under ₹3,000, giving buyers the flexibility to choose between a capable air cooler and an affordable liquid cooling solution within the same budget range.

Overall, the ICE C621 stands out as a well balanced dual tower air cooler that delivers reliable thermals, controlled noise levels, and solid ARGB aesthetics. For budget and mid range AM5 gaming builds, it remains a smart and dependable choice.
