Huawei has confirmed that the beta version of the HarmonyOS 2.0 smartphone operating system will be available to developers tomorrow, December 16.
However, there is now evidence that a beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0 for smartphones has already been sent to some developers who have confirmed that the operating system is running very smoothly.
HarmonyOS 2.0’s user interface is almost similar to EMUI 11, but it may differ more when the company releases a stable build. In addition, the report added that the new version of the operating system supports both Android and HarmonyOS apps.
Tomorrow, Huawei representatives will reveal the main features and tools available to app developers for HarmonyOS 2.0.
The company is expected to release a smartwatch based on HarmonyOS in the coming weeks. It is also reported that the company is preparing to release a tablet with its operating system, which may debut alongside the flagship smartphones of the P50 series.
