iOS 18 features and the list of iPhone that will recieve this update

Apple offically announced the iOS 18 at the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). iOS 18 comes with a big list of new features which includes a new Home Screen support which allows users to customize icons, Apple Intelligence – generative AI, a redesigned Photos app, and more. Apple also announced a list of iPhones that will receive the iOS 18 update. There are 24 iPhone models that will receive the latest generation OS, all of which are iPhones that support iOS 17.

More specifically, the list includes the iPhone XR up to the second-generation iPhone SE released in 2020. Here is the complete list. List of iPhones that will get iOS 18:

Although iOS 18 supports Apple Intelligence, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max from the list above get the generative AI feature. This is because Apple Intelligence requires the A17 Pro or M1 chip or a newer generation chip to run various advanced features.
