Apple has just announced its latest iOS 13 at the WWDC 2019 event. The arrival of the operating system will certainly kill the older iPhone devices as they won’t get updates.
The number of the latest iPhones released by Apple are certainly part of the device that can try this latest operating system. Meanwhile, the old iPhone had to say goodbye because they don’t match the minimum hardware requirement needed for iOS 13 and will not feel the sophistication and refinement offered by iOS 13.
These are the devices that will get the iOS 13 update:
- iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone X
- iPhone 8 Plus
- iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
- iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
As for iPhones that don’t get iOS 13 updates, including iPhone 6, iPhone SE, and the iPhones released earlier. So that it can be concluded, the earlier iPhone line will be stuck on iOS 12.
Apple said that the developer version of iOS 13 has been available since the first launch of the operating system, so they can optimize and update applications that support the latest OS features.
In July, Apple scheduled to release the beta for the public, where regular users can taste it in an almost final form. Officially, iOS 13 is likely to swing in September along with the release of a new generation iPhone.
