Honor has launched its first smartphone as an independent brand after leaving Huawei. Honor has introduced the V40 5G flagship for the Chinese market. Unfortunately, the availability of Google services on this device is not specified. However, there is a possibility that they will appear on the international version of the device. There is no official information on this yet, but it is expected that the Honor View 40 will be released in the spring and the smartphone will be pre-installed with a package of Google applications and services.
The Honor V40 5G gets a 6.72 ″ OLED display with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5D edges. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the display. The main camera module has a resolution of 50 megapixels (RYYB sensor, 1 / 1.56 ″, 2.0 μm). There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The dual front camera includes a 16-megapixel module and a depth sensor.
The Honor V40 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The Honor V40 5G uses a 4,200mAh battery and supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is equipped with two slots for SIM-cards, modules Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB-C port, stereo speakers.
The Honor V40 5G will be available in three colours: black, silver and pink. The cost will be $ 556 for the 8/128 GB version and $ 618 for the 8/256 GB version.
