Honor 9X and 9X Pro Officially Launched in China With “Pop-Up” Selfie Camera and Kirin 810

After various leaks around the internet, the sub-brand of Huawei, Honor, launched its newest mobile duo, the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro in China. Both are the successors to the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max series which were released in 2018. Although Honor 9X Pro and Honor 9X are two different smartphones, they are identical to each other in terms of design and specifications. The main difference between Honor 9X Pro and Honor 9X is in the configuration of the rear camera and the RAM and internal memory carried by the two phones.

The Honor 9X Pro is equipped with three cameras setup on its back. The primary shooter is a 48-megapixel resolution (f/1.8), 8-megapixels (ultrawide), and 2-megapixel camera as depth sensing for bokeh effects. Meanwhile, the “regular” Honor 9X is only equipped with two rear cameras, each of which has a resolution of 48 megapixels (f/1.8) and 2 megapixels (depth sensor).

Then on the memory side, Honor 9X Pro comes with a variant of RAM up to 8 GB and internal memory up to 256 GB. On the other hand, Honor 9X only has the highest variant with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Even so, the internal memory on both of these phones can be expanded up to 512 GB with micro SD. The Honor 9X and 9X Pro screens are both measuring 6.6 inches with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio.

The Honor 9X duo is powered by 2.27 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core chip. Other specifications of both phones include a 4,000 mAh battery, side (Power Button) fingerprint scanner, and Android OS 9.0 Pie,

The Honor 9X is priced at the cheapest price of 1,399 Yuan or (INR) Rs 14,037.57. Meanwhile, the Honor 9X Pro is priced at the cheapest price that is slightly more expensive than the regular version, which is 2,199 Yuan or (INR) Rs 22,064
